Horrible

I’m a liar and a terrible being. To try and make up for that, I’ll update now…at 3:13am.

School has been absolutely crazy with all the work, but for now, I’m managing. I have my Physics, Organic Chemistry and Anatomy, which are the major players, but it’s not too too bad. I’ll make note when I start to fail. I had some MAJOR issues with my passport processing, but a meeting and credit card swipe later, I am in possession of my passport; I have applied for my visa; I have a biometrics scan Saturday. I’m so excited, but nervous because there is still so much to do.

Briefly, now. I went through periods of not frequenting communication with Dave. Not that there was a reason, but we’re both doing our thing, to an extent. A few things came up during our few chats, but I got a text from him earlier this week and we’ve been frequenting chats a little more, and well…he’s still completely awesome (and a sweet heart).

In the past few weeks as well, I’ve been conversing with Rob a lot too. It’s probably the weirdest friendship I have, but he’s cool. How many guys would survive having a picture of a celebrity penis sprung (!) on them. Haha…that’s a story for another time.

I’ve made the leap to Windows 7 Official Licensed released. I’ve been running the Release Candidate since June-ish, but now it’s a more permanent fixture and it’s nice. I do support Windows, even when they’re total douchebags.

Halloween is coming around the corner and I successfully compiled a delightful Dr. Horrible costume. I don’t really have pictures, otherwise they’d be up. I don’t even know if I want to go out anymore. All my friends are getting wasted, and that’s not what I’m interested in doing. Eh, we’ll see what happens.

I guess this is an adequate update for not rambling too much, so I’ll end it here for now. I do hope to get back to this soon.

Labor Pains

Have you guys seen that Lindsay Lohan movie? I did when I was at Jenn’s. It’s ok. But in spirit of this Labor Day Holiday, I am posting…a week later. I started this then, but never got around to it. I’m on the train now, so maybe I’ll finish.

Hm… I guess it’s been over a month now? Wow. August was a rush (like the movie. haha). But anyway, I could recap a little. It came down to people setting off to leave for school. A few more barbecues, some little adventures. We did not end up going out to Erie for the show since Crash dropped that set (more on that later). School began, and things are…going.

August 31, 2009. My classes officially began for the fall semester. This is my 2nd year now, so I’ve gotten the hang of things for the most part. My school shopping consisted of buying 10 notebooks and some post-its. My first class did not begin until 11, so I came back down to school that morning. After my classes, I went home. Next day, no classes and I went with Jenn and Harley up to NYC to Webster Hall. Rookie of The Year, Go Crash Audio (<3), Kiernan McMullan. Love love love.

My loan money is to be dispersed within 3 business days (Saturday should become a standard) but then after paying bills and such, I should have a little room for spending. When I say little, I mean I’m thinking about 2 things which engulf my budget. I’m DEFINITELY getting my new camera; I’m just deciding between two (Nikon D3000 or D5000). That’s a good chunk of money, but then I might replace my iPod with something with a greater capacity (being that this one is only 8gbs and my flash drive holds more). I want an iPod Touch with the capacity of a classic and the size of a nano. Haha, that’s not realistic at all.

My main courses this semester include Organic Chemistry, Anatomy and Physics. There’s a lot of work within it, but we’ll see how that goes. Good think I already took Micro! I guess along with school, I have my Asian Student Association duties (secretary) and I’m also membering in APhA-ASP. Janine wanted me to join her frat (it’s co-ed, but I like the term frat over sorority). That’s probably not gonna happen so much though.

Did you know that with the Bank of America, I can have a Hello Kitty checking, savings account? Comes complete with a Hello Kitty Check Card and checks! There’s a credit card too, and I’m pretty sure I’m signing up once I’m at home (and preferably when the loan money goes through.) I am pretty excited!

I think I’ve been trying to do too much lately. I’m not feeling too bad though, like it’s all manageable. I’ve had some crazy dreams though, all with things that have been on my mind (to the point where I can’t escape problems and they make me feel bad even when I sleep. haha). But anyway, The train ride is coming to an end and I should pack up.

Horribly Distracted

So I have successfully complete my first year of college. About 3 weeks ago, now. I had a week off and I started my summer classes u_u I have an exam and a lab practical on Thursday, and I’ve been terribly distracted.

I have a need for technology. I feel out of the loop if I’m not up to date. One of my larger vices is cell phones x_x Reflecting back, I’ve had *counts*7 phones? I think that’s about right. Always hunting and dreaming, Sony had this phone that was in the works for the longest time. How I craved that piece of art.

Well it is officially in the mail and makes phone #8. I keep looking up mods and all the fun things about this phone. I hope it’s as great as they say!

With that, I should really get to my studies since my exam is in…um, 2 days 🙁 Wish me luck. I have tons of crazy updates to add later!

Two til Gone

First off. I started browsing themes and I like this one 🙂 As all the layouts currently are, just temporary and not of my creation. I started fixing up the parent site [kuro-shiro.net] too. That’s not going to be anything wordpressy, more code and image based for myself. This is more focused on the blogging. But we’ll see where that goes.

I took my first final (Psychology) on Saturday, the 25th. I have a chemistry one tomorrow, and then a biology one Thursday. That would mark my first year of college!

I’ve been thinking about going to London for a semester, but that would require some more money and for me to take a summer class. I’m not sure if that’s what I really want to do, but I don’t have much time if I need to register for that class. Input?

In Just 12 Days

This is the official countdown. In 12 days come, I will have finished a year at college and be happily sleeping at home. 8 days of classes, consisting of exams and a pile of work to finish and turn in, plus 3 final exams: psychology, chemistry and biology >_< fml.

[plug] Speaking of, have you guys visited fmylife.com at all? It’s a humorous site where people have tragic stories, and you just have to feel better through empathy or just being able to see that your life isn’t as bad as theirs (through laughter). Check it out if you haven’t already. [/plug]

I recently copied all my old web files to my current computer (I don’t know why they weren’t here before) so I hope to have more things up and running in the semi-near future! I’ll check back later

[edit] I was on a school computer earlier and was looking at my blog. i never realized how different it looked in some other screen resolution…i should do something about that. [/edit]
