A lot has happened. Good. Bad. I’m not sure where to begin.
The biggest news that I could ever write about is D. He’s seeing someone now. He keeps apologizing for the way things turned out, but I don’t hate him for it. Yes it’s the most upsetting social thing in my life ever (dad doesn’t count here), but I still look at him as one of my best friends (and he told me the same). It hurts, but I’m learning to deal.
School is back and stressful as usual. Since the D situation I reactivated my OKC account. I’ve been chatting with a few people who seem to be really nice. It’s a good feeling when someone out there thinks well of you. I actually have a date in less than 10 hours 🙂 We’ll call him K. There’s also S, but that’s still in the works. We’ll see how any of this turns out.
That’s generally my life. Today is Lenny‘s birthday. 22. Big deal 😛 Anyway. I just wanted to update. I’m on duloxetine now, btw. 0/4.
I say it all the time. I’m losing my mind. I always am though. I have this somewhat big exam at 1 that I don’t care for. I’ve been going to therapy. I’ve got a lot on my mind.
Lenny wished for a clingy dog. We got her. I love her, but I think that the part of myself that gets lonely puts all the love I have to give towards this dog which in turn makes her the clingy dog she is. But that also being said, I just have so much to give. I get so concerned that the D situation will end horribly (worst case- there’s another girl ), I’ve been talking to James again, and I just saw Sean. I just want to be held, feel wanted, special. I’m asking a lot, probably. I’m just tired of being like this.
Good things come to those who wait. I’m waiting. I have no other choice.
I’m in the market for a TV for my room down here in the city. I can’t wait to go shopping. I’m done with school.
Ok. So I drafted that during a class yesterday. I’m feeling better. I chatted with D yesterday and he says he’ll be around for his birthday. I’m so excited. This makes year 3 of celebrating his birthday It’s those little moment that make me think maybe I am special. I sent his box today. It’s nothing big because I have some huge plans in the works. Besides, he’s not looking for much. I just hope my other plans go through. It’ll be so freaking baller, you have nooo idea!
Hell, if it doesn’t work for his birthday I can try for Christmas. Amanda thinks there is something special. I hope this is something and not in my head. I get closer to screaming out the L word (not lesbians) every day. I just want to tell people.
Clever girl. It’s almost October and many things coming up. In keeping with the theme, I’m working on the annual birthday box. The first one was so incredibly themed…I don’t think I can top that. So third annual box is a collection of goodies, slightly different than last year’s box of goodies. I had some other birthday ideas but they don’t come in a box. Idea. Polaroid? Haha. Just jotting thoughts. He’s just one topic that can make me smile through almost anything 🙂
But another moment. Yolei. That’s someone I didn’t mean to grow apart from. I made contact. Try it. Go rekindle an old flame of a friend. Dare you.
Here is a two part entry. There’s a break in the post (scroll down) for the second topic, which was written later and about the birthday!
Ever since James, I’ve had my own crazy thing about coincidence. In my own little code way, I gave him the label of “130” (which originated from J130, now without the letter). Like Jim Carrey’s movie, The Number 23, I slowly found myself seeing this number everywhere. Part of it was, now that I designated meaning to this number, I will notice it more often when it’s there. But I still think a part of it is ridiculous how often I ran run into it. From clocks to all the little things. Exhibit A: closet opposite the girls bathroom I walked out of (taken last week)
Then there was Dave. There’s a lot more behind that one, but I just want to note how many more people I have met named Dave, and why the name is tormenting me (not devastating, but I can’t believe how often I encounter it nowadays).
Dave C. from home (with a similar voice intonation, might I add)
Dave Fry
Dave Dry
Dave Hayes
Unique Hair Dave
Temple Camera Lens Dave
T-Mobile Dave
THE Dave
Walmart Security Dave
Roomate’s Boyfriend Dave (David)
Club Dave
District Head of Rite Aid Dave
District Head of Giant Dave
Mom’s Nurse Dave…
Foursquare Dave Dave
Kicker. Today I went in for an interview at Doylestown Hospital. Head of Operations (Chantel) decided to give me a tour of the place after a nice chat; first place I was brought was into the back.
Chantel: Jeanne, I’d like you to meet Dave. Dave: Very nice to meet you. *shake hands* Chantel: [describing some of the operations and then telling me about Dave some more and what he’s doing. Looking at NEJOM is what I saw.]
On the way out of the back… Dave: It was nice meeting you
Riiight. There’s got to be at least 3 more, but that’s what I have for now.
Today is Lenny’s 21st Birthday. 1. Happy Birthday. 2….idk
The whole presents thing was not easy. The one suggestion I did get was something I already got for him last year. I have a nice card, made him a Reese’s dessert cake and hung a Dora banner that says PARTY * FIESTA.
Tonight is also 2 other birthdays (Lisa and Matt) and the 3V3 Basketball Tourney. We’re leaving early to do birthday shenanigans, but now I’m feeling terrible. I just got back not too long ago, and Alex was sitting on the couch. She’s sick and very feverish. She’s not sure if she’s going to be able to go out and feels bad about it. I feel terrible not because I’m still sick myself (it’s the weirdest condition (set of conditions plural) ever) but because I was contagious.
Not sure how tonight will go. Physio exam Friday. Naked clin skills tomorrow.
On the 25th of June, 2009, our world cried. At first, we lost Farrah Fawcett, but later to find that we had lost our King of Pop, Michael Jackson. The day began with me prepping for my final exam in Microbiology (eww, gross) and just getting out of there. This is the official beginning of my summer, since I only had a week off between the end of the semester and the start of classes again. SUMMER, HERE I COME!
I left and went home. My mother’s birthday was the day before, so my brother and I gave her a box from Kays 🙂
With this ring, I have also decided that I am selling my beloved phone. It was a great time we had together, but financially it is not in my best interest.
We took my mom out for dinner after the gifting. I actually ran into Rob and his family while we were there 😛 That’s when we first heard about MJ.
So the day was great up until that news.
The next day was pretty exciting. Besides listening to Michael Jackson music all day with Jenn, we ran errands and went down to my house at school to pick up some things. From there, we went to Joji‘s ^^
I’ve been hearing about Joji since about 2006, so it was pretty exciting to meet him. He’s a half-Jap amazing jerk. Haha. He spent the last year in Japan, and so I envy him to an extent.
We started off by playing Floating Candy, but just switched to Kings. That was going pretty until towards the end of the 2nd round. Jenn ran off to the bathroom, and as she did that, I started feeling kinda sick and left the room. Jenn unfortunately locked the bathroom door and I ended up puking right there >_< I tried so hard to keep it down. I eventually got in, with only a handful of what was left, and finished my business and cleaned up. I sobered up pretty much right there. I just felt AWFUL for doing that to Joji‘s floor (and he even cleaned it up). That made me feel terrible and I helped him finish up the cleaning as Jenn was hanging over the toilet.
That aside, we asian bonded. I’m his bitch :O I like him. He’s my new BFF.
I ended up getting to bed at around 3 something in the morning, and then getting up at 6:30. Eventually, we made our way to IHOP which was yummy, but Jenn still wasn’t feeling well so it wasn’t as fun as it might have been. Joji drew a fantastic picture on the back of the placemat (it is officially framed, btw) and then we hung around for a bit before leaving. It was a pretty great time, in my opinion. Good times with great people.
Being there though, all the little Japanese things Joji had brought back so many memories. It’s sparked my love of Japan again. That night, Joji was speaking with his mother (who is where he gets his asian from) in <<Nihongo>> and that was seriously the best eargasm I’ve had in a long time. I was laying on the floor of the bathroom at the time and literally rolled over towards the door to listen. I wish I were fluent enough to hold a surprise Japanese conversation. Haha. Watashi wa neji desu ^________^ But yeah, I’ve been listening to all my T.M. Revolution, Iceman and rest of my J-Pop collection since and it just feels so right. Thank you, for bringing me back.
All I do now a days is hang out with Jenn. That’s what happened last summer too. We’re the only jobless ones and get along fantastically, so why not. We went down to the city to visit the kids at orientation. Met up with Jake and got some free food. Then met up with Janine and eventually trekked our way back home. I have to go back down in the morning to see my advisor, and maybe go to the Crayola Factory with Jenn, Kelsey and Devin? We’ll see.
I’m working on a new album too. I like the way the NextGen gallery works with WordPress, but the function isn’t as friendly as my other one (I’m just more used to it) and there are some features that I can configure on that one that I can’t here. Check it out! Like everything else, it’s a work in progress.
